Who are they?
It is a Church that believes in reaching out to the whole world with the gospel of Jesus Christ while we await his coming.
Victory Bible Church International was founded in Ghana, West Africa but has now grown beyond the borders of Ghana into USA, London, Holland and Germany. We are a group of God's people bought by the blood of Jesus Christ, have had our sins forgiven and have come together to constitute a local Church (which is an expression for our Universal Church) under his Lordship, for the purpose of Worship, Fellowship, Evangelism and Discipleship.
Victory Bible Church believes in the Bible totally and seeks to live by its principles. Because of the difference God has made in our lives.
We are all committed to helping as many people possible in order for them to realise that Jesus Christ is the answer to all their problems and that they too can have a wonderful and personal relationship with him!
“We believe in knowing what God is doing and saying to our generation, so we serve them according to the will of God, thus "Raising the foundation of many generations". Foundation that will never be destroyed by the system of the world. A Godly system indeed!”
What we believe
The fundamental teaching of this Church are reflected in the following statements of faith:
- We believe in the totally God given verbal inspiration of the accepted scriptures as originally given in the Holy Bible (2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Cor. 2:13)
- We believe in the eternal God-head who has revealed himself as one God existing in three persons, Father, Son and Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible. (Mattew 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14)
- We believe that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day and thereafter personally appeared onto His disciples (1 Cor. 15:1-4, Rom. 4:25)
- We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Eternal God head in order to fulfil the command of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the operation of the Holy Spirit as manifested in the early Church and exemplified in (1 Cor. 12:1-14).
- We believe in the eternal life of believers as found in John 5:24, 3:16 and eternal punishment for unbelievers as found in Mark 9:43-48, (2 Thess. 1:9, Rev. 20: 10-15)
- We also believe in the healing of the human body by divine power, of the divine healing in the varied aspect as practised in the early Church.
- We also believe in the spirit filled life, a life of separation from the world and the perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of the true Christian faith.
